台湾东元电机将在青岛合资设立一家空调压缩机工厂

　　台湾地区最大的空调压缩机企业东元电机(下称“东元”)22日宣布，在青岛投资设立一家合资工厂的计划，已经获得相关机构批准。

　　合资工厂的名称为“青岛世纪东元制冷科公司”，合作方为韩国Finetec世纪，它也是目前韩国最大的商用压缩机生产商。双方初期将大约投资1.16亿元人民币(各投5,800万元)，以定位于高端商用空调压缩机(涡轮式)和冷却器的生产。

　　双方预计2008年第三季投产，未来将“东元+世纪”双品牌战略经营，主要覆盖中国市场(含台湾等地)、东南亚及韩国。

　　压缩机只是东元大陆整体布局中的一个环节，它早就与“造鞋大厂”宝成集团在广东合资成立了商用空调厂。不过，目前它的最大营收来源是发动机业务，它已相继在无锡与江西设立两座大型工业马达工厂。此外，东元在南昌、厦门设有家电制造基地，主要生产洗衣机与液晶电视.

　　境外空调压缩机巨头的涌入，将对大陆的压缩机生产商进一步造成冲击，尤其是本土巨头华意压缩。不过，华意压缩相关人士表示，公司主要定位于冰箱压缩机领域，双方呈现错位竞争，而且，目前长虹电器已经入主，这消除了华意压缩与下游整机企业合作的压力。2007年，华意出货1224万台，总收入达28 亿元。
