德国汽车电子零件供应大厂Continental正在开发一种车对车的通讯系统，以做为路面结冰状况的通报。该公司表示，这种系统将会比现有的温度感测装置更有效地对前方路面的危险状况，向驾驶人提出警告。

该系统将使用无线通讯技术来传递警报讯息，讯息的来源可能是传统的温度感测装置，也可能是来自车辆的防打滑系统或是电子车身稳定系统(ESP)等。同时Continental也宣布将开发新一代反应更快、尺寸更小的感测装置。

MUNICH, Germany ― Continental has a system under development that includes car-to-car communications for clear ice warning systems. Such as system would be superior to current temperature sensors since drivers can be warned ahead of dangerous situations, the company says.


The system would use the wireless car-to-car communication scheme to transmit warning messages. The messages could be derived from the information of conventional temperature sensors as well as from the driving slip regulation system and from the electronic stability program (ESP).


At the same time, the company announced the availability of a new sensor generation that reacts faster and is smaller than former models.
